WaeRebo is an old ManggarainVillage, situated in the middle west of Flores Island. It’s surrounded by Mountain View.The Village offers a visitors a unique opportunity to see authenticManggarai housing and to experience the everyday life of the local community. In the Village of WaeRebo, visitors could see MbaruNiang; traditional, circular cone shaped houses with unique architecture. Nowadays it’s still a place to hold meetings, rituals and traditional ceremony. In 2012,Wae Rebo winning award of UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation plus Award of Excellence.

 Day 01: Labuan Bajo–Ruteng (±4 hours drive)

Pick you up at Komodo Airport or pick up in the hotel take an AC car directly to Ruteng about 4 hours’ drive. Stop Lembor for see therice field in flores island and RutengPu’u for traditional house. Then check in hotel. If you still have time afternoon take city tour in Ruteng and surrounding

Day 02: Ruteng – Denge  (±4 hours drive)

After early breakfast depart for ruteng to discover the southern part of Manggarai mainland. First visit will be Golocara village to see the unique spider webrice field continue driving to Todo traditional village where you will get to leisurely trek across rice field terraces and enjoy the splendid landscape of Narang village. In the afternoon you will be taken to drive along the south coast to Dintor and Denge with some stops along the road and stay overnight in Denge

Day 3: Denge – Wae Rebo Village (±2 hours Trekking)

After a light breakfast be prepared for a four hours trekking to waerebo village home to seven authentic Manggarai houses called MbaruNiang. The trekking trail predominantly covers the middle of mountain area. Located 1000m above sea level. Built in the same conical form, six of the houses serve as homes for the community while one is dedicated to visiting guest. These houses have really high roofs and each has five stories: the top four are mainly used for storage, where the living area is at the bottom and stay overnight here.

Day 4: Wae Rebo – Labuan Bajo (± 6 hours)

After breakfast get back to Denge village where lunch will be served. After lunch we drive back to Labuan bajo with Great Memories.
