Here are tourist destinations in Labuan Bajo and beyond:
- Padar IslandIs one of the islands in the Komodo National Park area, with amazing natural scenery.This island can be reached by using a Local Boat from Labuan Bajo for around 3 hours.
- Komodo IslandIs the largest island in the Komodo National Park area and it’s the main habitat of Komodo Dragon, Timor Deer, Wild Boar and various types of birds. Komodo Island is about 20 miles from Labuan Bajo and can be reached about 3.5 hours with Motorboat.
- Rinca IslandIt is the second habitat of the Komodo Dragon, here visitors could trekking through the Forest. During the trip Visitors can see Komodo Dragon, Wild Boar, Wild Buffalo, Horses and various types of Birds. Rinca Island can be reached by a wooden boat about 1 hour from Labuan Bajo.
- Kanawa IslandIs one of the tourist destinations around the Komodo National Park area, here visitors can swim and snorkeling enjoy the spectacular view of coral reefs. The island also has a Resort for Visitors, and only 45 minutes from Labuan Bajo.
- Wae Rebo Traditional VillageIt is one of the traditional Village of Manggarain tribe in West Flores, the uniqueness of this village is its cone-shaped house and only 7 units, 1 house is occupied by 10 heads of families. To reach this village, visitors can rent a car in Labuan Bajo then head to Denge with a distance of 4 hours then trekking to Wae Rebo village about 2 hours.
